The DSG international Foundation is a charity funded entirely by DSG international plc and funds the majority of the Group's charitable giving. Generally applications made to our stores or other sites are often referred to head office. Stores are encouraged to work with local charities and often apply for funding to support organisations they have adopted locally.

Since the Foundation was set up in 1996 it has funded many projects in the areas of education and health including the Dixons City Technology College in Bradford, the Bradford Educational Action Zone, Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Edinburgh University and research into diabetes at Kings College Hospital.

To reflect the diverse range of communities in which we trade our investment programme also supports some 300 different charities and community groups a year. DSG international plc receives hundreds of requests each week from good causes, however, we cannot meet all requests. To avoid disappointment and reduce delays for qualifying organisations, we ask all applicants to review our community investment policy before applying on-line for grants of up to £500 in vouchers.
